She actually looks slightly different to the other dolls but she doesn't think she is a cut above the others. She still likes to socialize and meet up with all the other dolls. The Jewel Sparkles Lalaloopsy doll has a sewn on date of March 13. This is known as Jewel Day apparently and signifies the day to give or receive jewelry. Receiving a Jewel Sparkles Lalaloopsy Doll might be another way to celebrate the day which always happens each year on the 13th March.

This Bitty Button doll is made in the style of a classic raggedy doll. There are 8 types of doll each with their own personalities. The personalities are derived from the sewn on date and the type of material that is used to make them. In the case of Jewel Sparkles the material used is a princess dress.

This has translated to a doll that might look a bit more elegant and regal than the other dolls. For starters, she wears a very elegant looking satin red dress with pink and white polka dots on the skirt and petticoat.

The most striking difference between the Jewels Sparkles doll and the others has to be the hairstyle. The other dolls have a bob style cut whereas this doll has the cut of a princess. She also has a tiara to adorn her hair as opposed to simple ribbons like the other dolls.

Apart from these differences, she still has some trademark Lalaloopsy looks. The button eyes are an obvious giveaway and she is the same height as all the other dolls(13 inches). She has the same round face with a pretty smile and pink cheeks. She also appears to have a black beauty spot under the left eye which is different to all the others.

You might expect her to have a few “airs and graces” given this unique look and the finest materials being used to make her but she is not really like that. Some say she can be a bit pushy but she likes to party and dance with her friends.

One of her prized possessions (well not really a possession as such, more like a companion) is her equally stylish and elegant looking Persian cat pet. This pet is pink in color and also has black button eyes.  

The Jewel Sparkles Lalaloopsy Doll comes with her little pet, a Promise certificate that is a bit like an adoption paper that the owner of the doll signs. It says that you will take care of her and keep her in the way a Princess would expect. You also receive a nice wall poster of the doll and her pet. This is a great toy to collect and is just right for girls around 6 to 12 years of age.
